Gautam Jain

Gautam Jain is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and project management. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Software Engineering at HealthEquity since July 2025, Gautam previously held the position of Director of Software Engineering at OneMain Financial, where efforts focused on the creation and scaling of a credit card platform and modernization of backend systems. Gautam has also worked as a Senior Engineering Manager at Lowe's Companies, Inc., leading technology initiatives for E-Commerce mobile applications, and as Senior Manager of IT at Office Depot, where Gautam drove significant advancements in mobile and omni-channel strategies. Prior roles include Lead Consultant at eBay Enterprise, where legacy systems were modernized, and Software Engineer at HCL Technologies, developing key software components. Gautam holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering from Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College, along with a diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
