Russell Ramel has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Russell started working at Sundance Photo Inc in 1995 as a Production Maintenance Technician, where they were responsible for the maintenance and repair of photographic processing equipment. After working there for two years, they joined Motorola Mobility in 1997 as a Manufacturing Test Technician. In this role, they were responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining surface mount PCB assembly machines and cellular subscriber testing equipment. Russell also assisted the lead test engineer with system calibrations and projects. In 2000, they transitioned to the role of Test Engineer at Motorola Mobility, where they designed and implemented test solutions for cellular handset RF radio technologies. Russell also developed equipment drivers and test application subroutines for the Motorola C++ based Test Platform NexTest. In 2008, they were promoted to the position of Senior Test Hardware/Software Engineer, where they became the lead architect of the Manufacturing Test System Software. In this role, they designed and implemented the Motorola Test Platform (MTP) test executive for global manufacturing test. Russell was responsible for the design, hardware, and software implementation of the cable set-top box manufacturing test system, including various tests related to RF, analog and digital audio/video, IP, WiFi, and DOCSIS modem. Russell also designed an agnostic interface for manufacturing site, test equipment, data system, and test execution model for reusing code across multiple product platforms and manufacturing sites. In 2013, they joined Everbrite, LLC as an Electrical Engineer in the Product Development team. In this position, they designed embedded system firmware for electronic sign control systems and implemented software tools for production manufacturing.

Russell Ramel attended ITT Technical Institute-Greenfield from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electronics Engineering Technology.
