Amanda Coats

Amanda Coats serves as the Vice President and Head of Product Development for ESU & FL at Everest since January 2022, providing legal advice and drafting insurance products across various financial and professional lines, including D&O and E&O. Previously, Amanda held multiple roles at Everest Specialty Underwriters focusing on legal counsel for insurance products, and at Sompo International as Assistant Vice President, Product Counsel. Amanda’s career began at AXIS Insurance as a Senior Claims Specialist and Claims Specialist, addressing complex legal issues in the insurance sector. Earlier experience includes practicing law as an Attorney at Coughlin Duffy LLP and serving as a Law Clerk for a New Jersey Superior Court judge. Amanda holds a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Michigan.
