Katja Pauwels

Katja Pauwels is an experienced payroll and payroll tax compliance professional with a strong background in global payroll management. Currently serving as AVP at Everest since November 2021, Katja provides expertise on global payroll matters, particularly related to European and Asian expansions, while overseeing payroll tax compliance. Previous roles include Senior Payroll Manager at Panasonic USA, overseeing payroll operations for 14,000 employees, Payroll Director at Medidata Solutions, and Global Payroll Leader at Rockwell Automation, where responsibilities encompassed payroll processes across multiple countries. Earlier experience includes positions at Wellington Management, managing global payroll and regulatory compliance, and American Tower, directing payroll processes and HRIS initiatives. Katja holds a Master's degree in International Relations from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, a Master of Science in Taxation from Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School, and an MBA in Finance from Simmons University.
