Peter Chalkias

Peter Chalkias is an accomplished finance professional currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Everest since July 2023. Prior to this role, Peter held several key positions at Chubb from October 2010 to July 2023, including Head of External Reporting and Head of External Reporting & Finance Operations, where responsibilities encompassed external statutory and regulatory reporting, statutory forecasting and planning, capital planning, corporate and indirect taxes, treasury, and finance operations. Peter's earlier experience includes serving as Finance Director at Combined Insurance from June 1998 to October 2010, Finance Manager at Bankers Trust for a brief period in 1998, and various accounting roles at Lend Lease from March 1988 to October 1997. Peter holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting, Finance, and Systems from UNSW, completed between 1983 and 1987.
