Charles J. Kent

Dr. Charles Kent is a doctor of Ophthalmology with an emphasis on Oculoplastics and Cataracts. After completing his training at Harvard University's ophthalmology department, he moved his family to Pittsburgh. His clinical focus has been on functional eyelid problems like droopy eyelids and, tumors of the eyelids and eye socket. He also has expertise in cosmetic facial rejuvenation using a combination of surgery, dermal fillers, and Botox. Dr Kent is one of the few oculoplastic surgeons who continues to treat children and adults. Dr. Kent is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology since 1997 for Ophthalmology. He also completed specialized training in Ocular Pathology through Harvard University.

Dr. Kent has an interest in serving the underprivileged. Ever since he completed his training, he has participated in medical missions to Thailand. These mission have taken him to all parts of that amazing country. He has worked with the Thai Physicians of America, a group of Thai-American health care providers based here in the US.

Dr. Kent is fluent in Spanish.
