Leah Pletcher

Senior Manager, Customer Marketing at EVERFI

Leah Pletcher has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Leah started their career in 2016 as a Promotions Team Member at West Michigan Whitecaps, followed by a Game Operations Staff position at Grand Valley State University. In 2016 and 2017, they worked as a Game Night Intern and a Community Relations Intern at Grand Rapids Griffins and West Michigan Whitecaps, respectively.

Leah then joined the Grand Rapids Griffins again in 2017 as a Fan Services Intern, where they handled ticketing issues, assisted with financial reconciliation, and managed ticket orders. Leah also worked on community outreach programs and data compilation.

In 2018, Leah became a Volleyball Coach at Woodhaven High School and Atomic VBC. Simultaneously, they joined the Detroit Red Wings as an Event Marketing Assistant, organizing school assembly programs and executing various events. At the Red Wings, Leah progressed to become a Community Impact Assistant and later a Community Impact Coordinator, focusing on fundraising, developing signature events, and engaging with donors and fans.

More recently, in 2019, Leah started working as a Volleyball Coach at Michigan Elite Volleyball Academy. By 2022, they took on a managerial role as a Manager of Customer Marketing at EVERFI. In 2023, they were promoted to the position of Senior Manager of Customer Marketing.

Throughout their career, Leah has demonstrated a strong commitment to community involvement, marketing, customer relations, and coaching.

Leah began their educational journey in 2010 at Woodhaven High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma in 2014.

Leah then pursued higher education at Grand Valley State University from 2014 to 2017, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising & Public Relations.

In 2019, Leah enrolled at Wayne State University - Mike Ilitch School of Business, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Sport & Entertainment Management in the year 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Leah also completed several certifications. Leah obtained the certification in "Microsoft Teams Quick Tips" from LinkedIn in May 2022, and a previous certification with the same name from 2019. The institution that granted both certifications was LinkedIn.
