Jeremy Fergus

Jeremy Fergus is a seasoned software engineer and data scientist with extensive experience in designing and implementing User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) software and data lake solutions, particularly with Apache Iceberg. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Software Engineer and Data Scientist at Everfox since January 2024, Jeremy previously held a similar role at Forcepoint from June 2015 to March 2024. Prior to that, Jeremy worked at Raytheon in various capacities from 2003 to 2015, focusing on User Activity Monitoring (UAM) software and deep packet inspection. Earlier career roles included positions at Raytheon UK and Novell, alongside experience in fine arts casting and technology support at Fraughton Foundry Inc. Jeremy holds a Master’s Degree in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Utah.
