Madeleine McDougall (she/her)

Madeleine McDougall has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Madeleine is currently the Global Director of Business Development at EverGrain Ingredients since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at ZX Ventures as the Global Manager of Venture Lab from an unknown start date until May 2021. Madeleine also had a previous role at ZX Ventures as a Global MBA Intern in Zxlerator in 2018.

Earlier in their career, Madeleine worked at the American National Standards Institute as the Senior Manager of International Development in 2017 and the Manager of International Development from 2013 to 2017. At ANSI, they were responsible for government relations, program management, and business development initiatives, resulting in significant financial gains.

Before their time at ANSI, Madeleine was an Analyst of International Trade at White & Case LLP from 2011 to 2013. During this role, they worked on a substantial contract preparing clients for Trans-Pacific Partnership negotiations and participated in a team providing support to the US trade representative.

Madeleine's career began with a graduate internship at the United States Trade Representative and a fellowship at the Congressional-Executive Commission on China in 2011 and 2010, respectively.

Madeleine McDougall has a diverse education history. Madeleine began their academic journey at Lancaster County Day School from 2000 to 2004, where they completed their high school education, without receiving a specific degree or field of study. Subsequently, Madeleine attended William & Mary from 2004 to 2008, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on International Relations and Chinese studies.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Madeleine pursued their interest in Chinese studies further at Zhejiang University in 2008-2009. Madeleine did not obtain a specific degree during their time there but focused on Chinese language studies. Additionally, in 2009-2010, Madeleine attended the Hopkins-Nanjing Center and obtained a Graduate Certificate in Chinese Studies.

In order to enhance their business acumen, Madeleine went on to attend Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management from 2017 to 2019, where they acquired a Master of Business Administration (MBA). The field of study for their MBA is not specified.
