Keith Roop-Eckart has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles.
Starting in 2010, they worked as a Mathematics and Science Tutor and later as a Peer Instructor at Columbus State University. In 2012, they joined the University of Georgia as a Teaching Assistant.
In 2014, Keith joined Epic as a Technical Services Engineer, where they worked closely with customer teams to implement, optimize, and upgrade Epic's MyChart and EpicCare Link portals. Keith also advised customers on feature implementation, prioritized and resolved escalated customer issues, and collaborated with development and quality assurance teams to deliver solutions. Keith's role at Epic also involved investigating and resolving software and operational issues, troubleshooting SQL reports, and providing webserver administration training. Keith stayed with Epic until 2018.
From 2018 to 2019, Keith worked at PeopleFluent as an Operations Engineer. Keith tracked and supported customer issues, troubleshooted and resolved 3rd line customer issues using various technologies, and designed queries and performed data fixes in SQL Server.
In 2019, Keith joined The HCI Group as a MyChart/EpicCare Link Analyst, where they continued to work in the healthcare IT field.
In 2020, Keith transitioned to Pivot Point Consulting, a Vaco Company, where they held multiple roles. Keith started as a MyChart and MyChart Bedside Consultant and later became a Principal MyChart Consultant.
Most recently, in 2022, Keith joined Evergreen Healthcare Partners as a Principal Consultant.
Keith Roop-Eckart obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics from Columbus State University, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Afterward, they pursued a Master's Degree (MA) in Mathematics from The University of Georgia, where they enrolled from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, Keith has obtained several certifications, including a Brazilian Jiujitsu Purple Belt from 10th Planet Denver in April 2021, and various Epic certifications such as Epic Client Systems Administrator Care Everywhere in June 2018, Clarity Data Model: MyChart & EpicCare Link in September 2015, EpicCare Link in January 2015, Epic Client Systems Administrator MyChart and EpicCare Link in November 2014, EpicCare Ambulatory in November 2014, and MyChart in November 2014.
