Rich Sweum is an experienced banking and mortgage professional, currently serving as Branch Manager and Loan Officer at 1st Security Bank of Washington since August 2016. With a strong background in home lending, Rich held the position of Vice President and Home Lending Branch Manager at Umpqua Bank from April 2014 to August 2016, and previously served as Vice President, Branch Manager, and Senior Mortgage Consultant at Sterling Bank. Additional experience includes roles as Senior Mortgage Consultant and Branch Manager at Golf Savings Bank, as well as Senior Mortgage Consultant at Homestead Mortgage. Rich also founded Sweum Consulting and worked as a Loan Officer at First Horizon Home Loans. Earlier in career, Rich dedicated a decade to Young Life International and Young Life as a Metro Director. Rich holds two Master’s degrees in Administration from Pacific Lutheran University, as well as a high school diploma from Everett High School.
