Julie Embry

Julie Embry is an experienced nursing professional and business owner with a diverse background in holistic health, pediatrics, and the arts. Since April 2017, Julie has operated Divine Energy Holistic Health and Wellness, focusing on holistic nursing, nutrition, detoxification, reflexology, and energy healing. Julie has been a Pediatric RN at MGA Home Healthcare since June 2016, providing private duty home care nursing. Additionally, Julie owns Unicorn Belly Dance Supplies and MoonJulz Creations LLC, while serving as a Bellydance Instructor at Evergreen Park & Recreation District since August 2013, offering classes in various Middle Eastern dance styles. Julie's nursing career includes roles as an RN Case Manager at Lifecare Center of Evergreen, Nursing Director at Epiphany Care Homes, and Director of Health Services at Aegis Senior Living of Ventura. Evergreen Park & Recreation District (EPRD)

Evergreen Park and Recreation District (EPRD) is a Special District, a form of local government authorized under state law and created to serve the park and recreation needs of its constituents. It is not part of Jefferson County, but a separate entity with its own taxing authority. The District was authorized in January 1969 with the stated purpose of the District was to provide recreational opportunities to its residents and construct a community center with a swimming pool. Today, EPRD serves approximately 23,000 people within the communities of Evergreen, Bergen Park, Indian Hills, Kittredge, and Marshdale, and many more without. The District is one of the largest in the state, covering 50,000 acres (78 square miles) in the foothills west of Denver. It is governed by a Board of Directors elected by residents of the District. EPRD boasts a vast array of programs, activities and attractions for the community and visitors to enjoy, all for a reasonable cost. They include: --Buchanan Park Recreation Center --Wulf Recreation Center --Evergreen Lake House --Evergreen Lake Skating Rink --a number of parks and athletic fields Special events include the Evergreen Summer Concert Series, Evergreen Trail Racing Series, Evergreen Kids Triathlon, Glow Run 5K, Evergreen Dawn to Dusk Trail Race, and others. We create three Recreation Guides and a Summer Camp Guide every year to highlight our programs and services.
