Susan Mastej has over 15 years of experience in educational and medical support roles. Currently serving as a Medical Paraprofessional and Paraprofessional for the City of West Haven and West Haven Board of Education since August 2008, Susan specializes in supporting students with special education needs. Additionally, Susan has been a Dietary Aide at Evergreen Woods since April 2015, responsible for meal preparation and service. Previous experience includes roles at Quest Diagnostics as a Specimen Prep Technician II and Bayer Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Sample Tracking Coordinator and Clinical Data Processor. Early in Susan's career, experience was gained as a Registered Medical Assistant at Temple Urgent Care Center. Susan holds a certificate in Bookkeeping and Medical Billing from CT State Gateway and a degree as a Registered Medical Assistant from Stone Academy-Hamden.
