Silvia Callegari

Silvia joined EverGreene in 2017 as an architectural conservator. She works closely with senior conservators in all aspects of conservation work, including: research, condition assessments, conservation treatments, construction management, and materials testing and analysis. She also oversees on-site operations and daily needs of projects.

Silvia’s graduate education includes internships with the National Park Service at various sites including Mesa Verde National Park and Tumacacori National Historical Park. In addition, she completed an advocacy internship at the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia and attended a field school at the T.E.I. School of Athens in Crete, Greece, where she collaborated on a risk assessment and the conservation of two prehistoric Minoan settlements. Her thesis focused on evaluating the preservation plan for adobe ruins at Fort Union National Monument in New Mexico. Silvia presented her thesis findings at the Association for Preservation Technology Conference in Ottawa in 2017.

She has been involved in the field of historic preservation and architecture since 2017, upon graduating with her MS in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania in addition to holding her BA in Writing from the New York University Gallatin School of Individualized Study.

Silvia serves as an active an member in several industry organizations including the American Institute of Conservation (AIC) and the Association for Preservation Technology, Northeast Chapter.
