Adam Lord has worked in the tech industry since 2003. Adam began their career as a Web Producer for John Edwards for President 2004, where they produced Web content including graphics and Web pages using HTML and content management systems. Adam then moved on to The Mike Easley Committee as the Director of Special Projects, where they maintained the website for a successful gubernatorial campaign. In 2005, they became the Marketing Manager for the North Carolina Arts Council, managing the database-driven website using HTML, CSS, a custom content management system, and ColdFusion. Adam also designed all new Web initiatives, printed materials, PowerPoint presentations, and collateral materials. In 2007, they became the Web Production Manager for John Edwards for President, producing Web content for the campaign website. In 2008, they worked as the Deputy Director of Online Communications for the 2008 Democratic National Convention Committee, where they served as Webmaster and developed and executed the online strategy. Adam then moved on to Donordigital as the Design Director, designing and coding Web sites, microsites, email messages, landing pages, widgets, and banner ads for a variety of clients. In 2011, they joined Tivix, Inc. as a Technical Director, where they architected and built web-based software solutions for Fortune-500s and startups. Adam also led engineering teams on client engagements and had extensive hands-on experience developing cloud-based solutions using Django/Python and Node. Adam Lord is currently a Software Engineer for Evergrow, a position they have held since 2023.

Adam Lord attended Duke University from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in English. Adam then attended Durham Technical Community College in 2005, where they earned a Certificate in Graphic Design.
