Brad Diederich

Brad Diederich, CMRP, currently serves as the Lead Predictive Maintenance Analyst at Evergy since October 2019, after a significant tenure at Westar Energy as a Senior Predictive Maintenance Analyst. Diederich's expertise includes vibration analysis, ultrasound inspection, and infrared imaging. Earlier career experiences include a role as a machinist at Caterpillar Inc., where Diederich operated Mazak Quickturn CNC and Mori Seiki manual lathes. Diederich has a distinguished 24-year service in the United States Air Force, advancing through various leadership positions, including Maintenance Superintendent and Fabrication Flight Chief. Noteworthy accolades include being named the 2008 Leo Marquez Maintenance Professional of the Year and the 2003 Senior NCO of the Year. Diederich holds an Associate's degree in Aircraft Maintenance Technology from the Community College of the Air Force and has completed specialized training in vibration analysis.
