Bryson Cyphers

Bryson Cyphers possesses extensive experience in electrical engineering and operations management within the energy sector. Currently serving as the Director of Regional Operations for Evergy Kansas Central - East Region since June 2018, Bryson also holds the title of Director of Substation and Relay Construction and Maintenance at Evergy. Prior to Evergy, Bryson spent nearly seven years at Westar Energy where roles included Director of Substation Maintenance and various managerial positions in substation maintenance. Earlier experience includes roles as Staff Electrical Engineer and Electrical Maintenance Supervisor at multiple Westar Energy facilities. Bryson's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Kansas State University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Emporia State University.
