Juan Mariscal

Juan Mariscal began their work experience as a Game Designer - Mathematician at Genesis Gaming in 2012. Juan created innovative game concepts and math models, working at a fast pace to complete up to 2 theoretical math models per month. Juan also analyzed player data to understand market demands. In 2014, they joined Tap Slots as the Director of Design, leading the growth of their casino game portfolio across various platforms. Juan established processes for game research, collaboration, critical thinking, and documentation of best practices. Juan worked closely with the CEO and other functional leads to define the future of the company. In 2015, Juan joined Everi Holdings Inc., starting as a Senior Game Designer before moving up to Director of Game Design and currently holding the position of Vice President of Game Design.

Juan Mariscal has a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley. Juan also holds a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Juan has pursued additional studies in Music Theory and Composition at the University of California, Berkeley. Furthermore, they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas between 2014 and 2016.
