Amit Abir

Amit Abir has extensive work experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Amit is currently the VP R&D at Evermile, starting in August 2022. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2022, they worked as the Head of Engineering at StuffThatWorks. Before joining StuffThatWorks, Amit worked at Oracle as a Software Engineer Director from November 2018 to July 2019, and as a Software Engineering Manager from March 2016 to November 2018. Amit also worked at Ravello Systems as a Software Engineer from December 2011 to March 2016. Amit began their career at the Israel Defense Forces, where they served as a Software Engineering Manager from November 2009 to May 2012, and as a Software Engineer from February 2007 to April 2009.

From 2012 to 2015, Amit Abir attended Tel Aviv University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics and Computer Science.
