Aliya Tyshkanbayeva

Aliya Tyshkanbayeva has a diverse range of work experience in data analysis and technology. Aliya most recently worked as a Senior Data Analyst at EverQuote starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Data Analyst at Cogo Labs from July 2020 to August 2022, where they excelled in managing operations and analytics of IPs and Users in email marketing credential, conducting due-diligence for a private equity firm, and designing A/B tests and ranking strategies. Before Cogo Labs, they co-founded Tech Qyzdar in May 2020 and served as a Co-Founder until December 2022.

Aliya also has experience in non-profit work, having been a Summer Leader and Fellow at Rewriting the Code from June 2019 to October 2020, where they organized events for college women interested in technology and participated in webinars and mentorship activities.

Additionally, Aliya worked as a Clinical Data Science Intern at Alkermes from July 2019 to December 2019, where they utilized R Markdown, tidyverse, Tableau, Python, and SQL for data analysis and visualization, and was involved in developing tech specs and code documentation.

Aliya also gained experience as a Data Science Intern at Zillow Group from August 2018 to January 2019, where they analyzed data using SQL, Mode Analytics, Jupyter Notebook, and python libraries, and used Atlassian GitBucket for version control.

Prior to their internships, Aliya worked as a Data Analyst at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow in August and September 2017, and as a Co-Founder at Sulu from May to November 2016. Aliya also has experience as an Olympiad Math Trainer at Pifagor - Olympiad Preparatory School from July 2013 to June 2014.

Aliya Tyshkanbayeva has a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Mathematics from Northeastern University. Aliya also obtained a High School Diploma from the National School of Physics & Math (Fizmat). Unfortunately, the start and end years for both degrees are not provided.
