James Salvatore

James Salvatore has a diverse work experience in software engineering roles. James started as a Systems Architect Co-op at Eaton Vance Management International Ltd. in 2016. In 2017, they worked as a Software Engineer Co-op at Gerber Technology, where they developed a cloud-based platform for remote machine diagnostics.

After that, James joined Walden Local Meat Co. in 2018 as a Full Stack Engineer Co-op. James then transitioned into a Software Engineer role, leading the design and delivery of a full-stack integration with the company's website.

In 2020, James moved on to EverQuote, where they began as a Software Engineer I. James collaborated with product and design teams to develop A/B tests and integrate external quoting systems, resulting in increased conversion and revenue. James then became a Software Engineer II, leading migrations to AWS and reducing infrastructure costs significantly.

Currently, James holds the role of Senior Software Engineer at EverQuote, where they develop internet-facing APIs and led a critical project that replaced a legacy component, protecting a significant portion of the company's revenue.

James Salvatore attended the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2015, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. James then transferred to the Wentworth Institute of Technology, where they continued their studies from 2015 to 2018, ultimately earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
