In 2014, they worked as a Freelance Web Designer/Developer, where they designed and developed a website for a local wedding photographer.

Earlier in their career, starting from 2010, they worked as a Media Services Technician at Southeast Missouri State University, where they were responsible for maintaining ITV computer systems, organizing training for faculty and staff, and repairing PCs and other devices.

Jacob Leffler attended Florissant Valley Community College from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services. Subsequently, they enrolled at Southeast Missouri State University from 2010 to 2014, earning a Bachelor's of Science degree in Web Page, Digital/Multimedia and Information Resources Design.
