Pierantonio Russo

Chief Medical Officer at EVERSANA

Dr. Russo serves as EVERSANA’s Chief Medical Officer. He is responsible for ensuring the highest levels of quality and data integrity in the design and delivery of projects that require the translation of clinical, population medicine and health economic knowledge into actionable analyses across all programs. A cardiac thoracic and transplant surgeon, he began his career at the Mayo Clinic, and then served in clinical leadership roles at several academic hospitals including Temple University/St Christopher’s Hospital, Philadelphia and the University of Missouri. He holds a Certificate in Health Care Innovation-Health and Health Care Administration Management from the University of Pennsylvania-Philadelphia and a Certificate in Digital Medicine (Node.Health). He is a member of the American Heart Association and has served as a lecturer in population medicine at the Harvard Medical School.
