Maija Benjamins

Maija Benjamins is an experienced professional in strategic project development within the energy sector, currently serving as the Director of Strategic Project Development at Eversource Energy since October 2015. In this role, Benjamins oversees the successful development of key strategic projects, collaborating cross-functionally to align with corporate goals. Previous positions at Eversource include Manager of the Offshore Wind Siting Department and Lead Siting Analyst for Massachusetts and New Hampshire, where Benjamins managed critical siting strategies and regulatory compliance. Prior to Eversource, Benjamins held senior project management roles at TRC Companies, Inc. and Southern California Edison, focusing on environmental strategies and project approvals for energy infrastructure. Benjamins holds a Master of Science in Ecology and has completed the Women's Leadership Program at the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce.
