Miriam Ofstein

Miriam Ofstein has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Miriam currently holds the position of Executive Director of Academic Operations at Everspring, where they have been since June 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Everspring in various positions, including Director of Learning Design, Associate Director of Learning Design, Lead Instructional Designer, and Instructional Designer. Before joining Everspring, they worked as an Instructional Designer at Career Education Corporation in 2013. Miriam also has experience in instructional design and editing from their time at Kaplan Higher Education in 2011. In addition to their professional experience, Miriam has worked as a Ghost Writer/Editor/Co-Author for the Pond Punkies children's series, where they edited, reviewed, and co-wrote books for the series from 2010 to 2012. Miriam also has marketing internship experience at LifeSource Blood Services in 2010 and was a Student Liaison/Intern at the University of Kansas Audio Reader in 2010. Miriam's work experience also includes a sales associate role at Borders Books in 2008.

Miriam Ofstein holds a Bachelor's degree in English-Creative Writing from The University of Kansas, which they received in 2010. Miriam then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Writing and Publishing from DePaul University, which they completed in 2014. In addition to their academic qualifications, Miriam obtained various certifications from LinkedIn in conflict management, communication, teamwork, and managing difficult situations. Miriam also acquired certifications from Blackboard and Acclaim Badging in teaching essentials and became an Acclaim Ambassador. Miriam further enhanced their skills through online courses in leadership communication, collaboration, and negotiation on platforms like Coursera.
