Vimal Sota

Vimal Sota began their work experience in 2002 as an Employee at Mehta & Mehta, where they worked until August 2003. From September 2003 to November 2006, they worked as a Manager at Bayer CropScience. In 2006, they joined Kshitij Investment Advisory Company Limited as a Manager and worked there until January 2010. Currently, they are working at Everstone Group, where they started in November 2006 as a VP Legal and currently holds the position of Executive Director - Legal & Compliance since April 2021.

Vimal Sota has a diverse education history. Vimal holds a degree as a Fellow Company Secretary from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, specializing in Corporate Laws. Vimal also completed a Bachelor of General Laws (B.G.L.) from Government Law College, Mumbai. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) from K. J. Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce, Mumbai, with a focus on Financial Accounting & Auditing, Direct and Indirect Taxation, and Computer Systems and Applications. Their schooling began at Friends Co-operative Education Society School in Mumbai, where they completed their SSC degree. Vimal Sota has also pursued further certifications, including a Certificate Course on Commercial Contract Management and a Certificate Course on Forensic Audit from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Vimal has completed an Independent Directors Certification Program from The Directors' Club and achieved training in High Impact Presentations from Dale Carnegie Training.
