Alberto López-Gaffney

Alberto Lopez Gaffney is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in corporate development and finance. Currently serving as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at Evertec since March 2023, Alberto has previously held key positions including Chief Financial Officer at Despegar.com from October 2018 to April 2023, and Chief Financial Officer at TGLT from June 2017 to September 2018. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Itau BBA as Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking for Latin America excluding Brazil from June 2012 to May 2017, and at Morgan Stanley as Managing Director in M&A/Investment Banking, where Alberto led the Southern Cone division from May 1999 to May 2012. Academic credentials include a Master in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Harvard Business School and a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina.
