Jose Javier Rodriguez

JJ Rodriguez has a strong background in finance and banking, with over 25 years of experience. Jose Javier (JJ) started their career as an Audit Manager at Arthur Andersen, where they worked from 1996 to 2002. Following that, they joined Brink's Inc as a Controller for two years. In 2004, they joined Popular, where they served as a Relationship Manager in Corporate Banking before transitioning to the role of Manager in Merchant Acquiring Business. Jose Javier (JJ) worked at Popular until 2010 when they joined Evertec as a Manager in Merchant Acquiring. During their time at Evertec, they held various leadership positions, including Director of Merchant Acquiring and, most recently, Director of Bin Sponsorship and Risk Operations.

JJ Rodriguez earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Dayton, attending from 1992 to 1996. Jose Javier (JJ) has also obtained additional certifications, including "Pensamiento estratégico," "Desarrolla la adaptabilidad de tu equipo," and "Evaluación de desempeño en la nueva normalidad: Presencial, remota e híbrida" from LinkedIn. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from Colegio de Contadores Públicos Autorizados de Puerto Rico.
