Juan Rego

Juan Rego is the Senior Vice President of Internal Audit at Evertec. Juan has over fifteen years of experience in risk assurance and management, IT audit and advisory projects, and business control frameworks. Juan has a proven track record in leading successful proposals and oral presentations that have resulted in awarded contracts.

Juan began their career in September 2002 at PwC, where they gained extensive experience in project management, team leadership, and relationship building. In May 2015, they joined Evertec as the Senior Vice President of Internal Audit. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the company's internal audit function and providing independent assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of Evertec's internal controls.

Juan is a certified public accountant and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors. Juan holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Puerto Rico.

Juan Rego studied systems engineering at the Universidad Tecnológica del Centro.

They are on a team with Miguel Vizcarrondo - EVP, Payment Services, Puerto Rico, Caribbean, Business Solutions & Merchant Acquisition, Alexandra López-Soler - SVP, Marketing & Communications, and Carlos J. Ramírez - EVP, Product, Marketing & Innovation. Juan Rego reports to Morgan Schuessler, President & CEO.
