Melissa Gradilla

Director, Grantmaking at Every Mother Counts

Melissa Gradilla is a seasoned professional in maternal health and public health research, currently serving as the Director of Grantmaking at Every Mother Counts since August 2018. In this role, Melissa leads the design and management of maternal health program investments and fosters partnerships with grant recipients to maximize program impact. Previously, Melissa held several positions at Columbia University School of Nursing, focusing on community-based research and health informatics with underserved populations. Additional experience includes conducting research on maternal and reproductive health with the Population Council in Mexico, and supporting global health initiatives with Ascension Health and Catholic Charities. Melissa holds a Master of Public Health from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
