Eileen Briggs is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in grantmaking, organizational development, and Indigenous community leadership. As the Grantmaking Director and Native Nation Building Portfolio Director at the Bush Foundation since March 2016, Eileen works on transformative initiatives including a Bush Fellowship focusing on women's healing ceremonies in Indigenous communities. Eileen serves as an International Advisory Council Member at the Native Nations Institute, providing resources for self-determination and governance for Indigenous nations. As the owner of Ho-Waste/Good Voice Consulting, Eileen delivers consulting services to various non-profit organizations. Eileen has also held significant leadership roles, including Board President of Ta-te Topa Energy, Inc. and Executive Director of Tribal Ventures for the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, where Eileen worked on poverty reduction initiatives. Eileen's educational background includes a Master of Education in Youth Development Leadership from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts for Human Services/Communications from the University of Minnesota Morris.
