Elisa Medina-Rivera has over 15 years of work experience. From 2003 to 2014, they held various positions, including Executive Assistant at Fundación Educativa Metamorfosis, Administrative and Research Assistant at Proyecto Umbral, University of Puerto Rico, Executive and Research Assistant at MythosiX, Graduate Teaching Assistant at Florida International University, Research Assistant at Islam in Latin America Project, Student Services at Jose Maria Vargas University, and Financial Aid Advisor at Sullivan & Cogliano. From 2014 to present, they have been working at EveryMundo, where they have held the roles of Director of Engagement Services, Product Manager of CoreDictionary, and Head of Content. In their role as Head of Content, they have overseen content strategies and localization efforts, secured the expansion of the content network, developed and optimized a vetting and certification process, supported campaign buildouts, managed in-house and outsourced content managers, managed the department's budget and P&L, supported upselling efforts, and managed customer-facing communication.
Elisa Medina-Rivera holds a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies from Florida International University, which they obtained between 2009 and 2011. Elisa also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Comparative Literature from Universidad de Puerto Rico, which they obtained between 2002 and 2007.
