Ben Skidmore is an experienced mentor and technology professional with a diverse background in various roles within the technology and music industries. Currently serving as a Mentor at Creative Mentor Network since July 2023, Ben has also held multiple positions at Everyone TV since October 2017, including Test Lab Manager and Software Developer, focusing on Freeview Play on-demand service and related platforms. Furthermore, Ben has been a Restarter volunteer with The Restart Project since 2012, promoting sustainable technology practices. As the owner of Skidmore Guitars, Ben specializes in guitar design, repair, and modifications. Previous roles include Technical Consultant at The Guitar Emporium and Guitar Technician at Chandler Guitars. With a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering from the University of Westminster and additional qualifications in electrical and electronics engineering, Ben combines technical expertise with a passion for mentoring and community engagement.

Everyone TV (formerly Digital UK) leads the evolution of free TV in the UK and runs the nation’s free TV platforms - Freeview and Freesat. We are owned and supported by the UK’s leading public service broadcasters - the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5. At the heart of everything we do is a belief that everyone should be able to access great quality TV, regardless of location or income. We are the champions of free TV in the UK, of what it delivers for viewers and the positive impact it has on wider society.
