David Gill is a seasoned technical architect with extensive experience in the broadcast and video-on-demand sectors. Currently at Everyone TV since January 2022, David previously held the position of Integration Lead at Freesat from August 2016 to January 2022. Prior roles include Principal Broadcast Engineer Lead at TalkTalk and Senior Engineer at Talk Talk Group, contributing significantly to the development of the Homechoice IPTV service. David began a career in multimedia and broadcast projects at ERA Technology Limited and served as a Research Assistant at Queen Mary and Westfield College, involved in the MAVT project. David holds a BEng Hons in Electronic Engineering from Queen Mary University of London.

Everyone TV (formerly Digital UK) leads the evolution of free TV in the UK and runs the nation’s free TV platforms - Freeview and Freesat. We are owned and supported by the UK’s leading public service broadcasters - the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5. At the heart of everything we do is a belief that everyone should be able to access great quality TV, regardless of location or income. We are the champions of free TV in the UK, of what it delivers for viewers and the positive impact it has on wider society.
