Sandra Brown has extensive experience in the media and digital industry. Sandra started their career as a Researcher at the BBC in 1995 and then moved on to work at Efdex as a News Editor, where they were responsible for managing the newsroom and commissioning features. In 2000, they joined 3 UK as an Entertainment Product Manager, where they played a key role in delivering the UK's first mobile TV service and building partnerships with broadcasters and media companies. Sandra then worked at National Geographic Ventures as the Vice President of Strategy & Business Development, where they developed the VOD, mobile, and distribution strategy and created new partnerships to increase revenue. Sandra later joined the UK Film Council as the Head of Digital, where they focused on developing digital film policy and project managing initiatives in online distribution, audience development, and marketing. After that, they served as Vice Chair and Non-Executive Director at Inpress, where they provided strategic guidance and digital expertise, which resulted in an increase in online sales. Prior to their current role, Sandra worked as a Digital Consultant at LB Media, where they worked with media and telecoms companies to identify new products, features, and revenue streams. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Product Lead at Everyone TV, where they are responsible for the development of Freeview's next-generation platform and enabling content providers to migrate to Linear IP streaming.

Sandra Brown has a diverse education history. Sandra earned their BSc(Hons) degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Surrey in the years 1989-1992. Sandra then pursued an MSc degree in Psychology from Reading University from 1992-1993. In 2004-2005, they completed the CIM Diploma in Marketing. Additionally, Sandra has obtained several certifications, including AI for Product Management from Pendo.io (expected in 2024), Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance (2017), and Prince 2 Foundation and Practitioner from SPOCE Project Management Ltd. (2016).
