Kathleen Hallgren

Kathleen Hallgren is an experienced professional in state government affairs, currently serving as the Regional Director for State Government Affairs at Everytown for Gun Safety since December 2017, with prior roles including Senior Associate Regional Director and Associate Regional Director. Kathleen's legislative experience includes serving as the Deputy Legislative Director for the Office of Oregon House Speaker Tina Kotek and as Finance Director for FuturePAC, Oregon House Democrats. Earlier positions include Associate at M+R, Research and Policy Associate and Public Interest Fellow at The Bell Policy Center, and Public Interest Fellow at the National Conference of State Legislatures. Kathleen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a focus on Concepts of Human Nature from Colorado College.
