Tamiko Armbrister

Tamiko Armbrister is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Associate Director of Learning & Development and National Volunteer Programming at Everytown for Gun Safety since September 2022. In these roles, Tamiko focuses on expanding the volunteer training and mentoring program while promoting inclusivity and equity in the gun violence prevention movement. Tamiko also works as an Instructional Coach and Consultant at EdConnective, contributing to the development of training protocols that emphasize equity and anti-oppression. Previous experience includes serving as an Independent Test Administrator at Florida Technical College and a long tenure as an Instructional and Induction Coach at Broward County Public Schools. Tamiko held a seasonal role as a Teacher Performance Assessment Scorer at Pearson. Educational credentials include a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Florida Atlantic University, along with degrees in Liberal Studies from Thomas Edison State University and studies at Nova Southeastern University and Bethune-Cookman University.
