Avionics System Engineer at Eviation

Anuj Pant has a diverse range of work experience in the aviation industry. Anuj started their career as an Engineering Trainee at Air India Ltd, where they gained hands-on experience in engine repair and overhaul techniques. Anuj then moved on to Institute Of Satellite Telecom Pvt. Ltd, where they worked as an Industrial Trainee Engineer, focusing on installation, commissioning, and system integration of satellite communication equipment.

Anuj then joined Hindustan Aeronautics Limited as a Design Engineering Intern, where they collaborated on a project involving the design and analysis of mechanical parts for aircraft drop-tanks. Anuj gained experience using software such as Siemen's PLM Unigraphics NX4, ANSYS Fluent, and Hyper Works.

Anuj continued to expand their skills at MANBRAS PLASTRONICS PRIVATE LIMITED, where they worked as a Quality Engineer. In this role, they developed quality systems, implemented quality tools, and created preventive and corrective action plans for quality issues.

Anuj furthered their education at Florida Institute of Technology, where they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant. Here, they focused on developing a novel cooling method to improve the power output of Concentrated Photovoltaic panels. Anuj conducted numerical, analytical, and optimization studies using COMSOL and MATLAB/Simulink.

Anuj then joined Embraer Executive Jets as a Quality Engineer, where they addressed nonconformances on aircraft components and conducted 8D activities like root cause analysis and corrective action. Anuj also communicated with suppliers.

Following this, they worked at Piper Aircraft as an Avionics/Electrical Engineer, where they created solid models, engineering orders, work orders, and test plans for aircraft systems. Anuj also created trade study presentations on system upgrades/modifications.

Most recently, Anuj joined Eviation Aircraft as an Avionics System Engineer. In this role, they represent avionic systems in design, integration, test, and flight. Anuj also writes, manages, and allocates avionic system requirements and defines and manages interfaces between avionics and satellite systems.

Looking ahead, Anuj is set to join Joby Aviation as a Senior System Engineer in 2023.

Anuj Pant completed their Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a 1-year Diploma in Engineering in Design and Operation of Unmanned Systems from Unmanned Engineeria in Chennai, India in 2015. Anuj obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Aerospace Engineering from Hindustan University, which they attended from 2011 to 2015. For their secondary education, Anuj Pant attended The Bishop's School from 2009 to 2011 and The Bishop's Co-ed School in Pune from 2005 to 2009. Anuj is currently enrolled in New England College, pursuing an Executive MBA from 2021 to 2023. An additional certification they obtained is a UE diploma in UAV- Design and Operation from Unmanned Engineeria in 2015.
