Adam Ruther has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Adam began their career as a Logistics Coordinator Intern at Integrity Express Logistics in 2014. In 2015, they joined eviCore healthcare as a Data Analyst, responsible for client periodic reporting development and processing. Adam then moved up to the role of Senior Data Analyst - Operations, where they created automated dashboards to support various areas of Operations and educated subject matter experts in SQL and Tableau. In 2020, Adam transitioned to the AI Team at eviCore healthcare, first as a Senior Data Science Analyst and later as the Lead Data Science Analyst. In these roles, they evaluated project ideas, built/maintained Tableau dashboards, and coordinated a migration to an Azure Databricks Lakehouse. Additionally, Adam worked as a Part-Time Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota, where they supported students in a data visualization bootcamp course.

Adam Ruther earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing with co-majors in Business Analytics and minors in Chinese and International Business from Miami University between 2011 and 2015. In 2021, they pursued a Master of Computer Science degree with a focus on Data Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Additionally, Adam obtained several certifications including Cloud Computing Applications, Part 2: Big Data and Applications in the Cloud from Coursera in 2022, and Data or Specimens Only Research from CITI Program in March 2022. In 2021, they acquired certifications in Text Mining and Analytics, Text Retrieval and Search Engines, Mathematics for Machine Learning: Linear Algebra, Unordered Data Structures, Accelerated Computer Science Fundamentals Specialization, Ordered Data Structures, and Object-Oriented Data Structures in C++ from Coursera.
