Alison S. Hanowell

Alison S. Hanowell, M.D. has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Alison S. started their career at Riverdale Anesthesia Associates in 2010, where they worked as an Anesthesiologist until December 2011. Alison S. then moved on to establish their own clinic, Hanowell Spine Clinic, in 2012, where they served as a Physician and Managing Partner until April 2018. In 2018, they joined eviCore healthcare, initially taking on the role of Associate Medical Director until November 2019, when they were promoted to the position of Medical Director.

Alison S. Hanowell, M.D. completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at The George Washington University in 2002. Alison S. then attended The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences from 2002 to 2006, earning their Doctor of Medicine degree. Following this, they pursued an Anesthesiology Residency Program at Emory University School of Medicine from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, Dr. Hanowell holds board certifications in both Anesthesiology from The American Board of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine from the American Board of Pain Medicine.
