Raymond Yen

Raymond Yen has a vast work experience spanning several decades. Raymond is currently working as the Medical Director of Cardiology at eviCore healthcare since December 2019. Prior to this, they served as the President of OTB Healthcare Consulting starting from July 2017.

Raymond also worked as the Medical Director at Concentra-a Select Medical Company, where they managed medical operations of outpatient clinics and supervised Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners. Raymond held this position from November 2017 to November 2019.

From October 2014 to June 2017, Raymond worked as the Repatha Medical Director at Amgen, where they provided clinical and scientific input for various activities related to two cardiovascular products.

Before joining Amgen, Raymond had their own cardiology practice as the President of Raymond S. Yen, MD, Inc., where they dedicated their time to patient care in both office/clinic and hospital settings. Raymond specializes in coronary stents, pacemaker implantation, heart failure treatment, myocardial infarction treatment, atrial fibrillation treatment, hypertension treatment, and hypercholesterolemia treatment.

Raymond's early career includes working as an Interventional Cardiologist at Foothill Cardiology/California Heart Medical Group from November 1993 to April 2014. Raymond also served as a Councilor at the American College of Cardiology from 2008 to 2014.

Raymond completed their medical training as an Interventional Fellow at Harbor/UCLA Medical Center from July 1992 to October 1993. Raymond was a Cardiology Fellow at UC Irvine Medical Center/Long Beach Memorial/Long Beach VA from July 1989 to June 1992 and a Resident in Internal Medicine at UCI/Long Beach VA from July 1987 to June 1989.

Raymond Yen has a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin U-Med & Science, which they obtained from 1982 to 1986. Prior to that, they earned an AB degree in Economics from Occidental College from 1978 to 1982. In 1980, they also briefly studied National Health Service at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Raymond completed their high school education at Mills High School from 1974 to 1978. In terms of additional certifications, Raymond Yen obtained a certification from the American College of Cardiology in FACC (Field Avoidance Certification Center) and achieved the American Board of Internal Medicine certification in Cardiovascular Disease in 2013, among others. Raymond also holds the NRCME certification from the U.S. Department of Transportation, obtained in 2018.
