Sid Govindan

Vice President Clinical/provider Innovation at eviCore

Sid Govindan has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, holding various positions at different companies. Sid started their career as a Radiology Resident at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2008 and later became an Attending Radiologist. In 2012, they also worked as a Radiology Fellow specializing in Musculoskeletal imaging.

In 2013, Sid joined QPID Health, where they served as the Sr. Director of Product Management and Clinical Informatics. In this role, they led teams of clinicians and engineers to develop software that modernized provider-facing prior authorization/UM practices at eviCore, a company that later acquired QPID Health. Sid utilized eHR connectivity, natural-language-processing, machine learning, optical character recognition, and cloud-based infrastructure in their work.

Sid then joined eviCore healthcare in 2019, where they currently hold the position of Vice President Clinical/Provider Innovation.

Additionally, Sid co-founded Aria Yoga Co. in 2016 and served as the Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer until 2019.

Throughout their career, Sid has demonstrated expertise in radiology, product management, clinical informatics, and innovation in healthcare.

Sid Govindan completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Yale University in 2003. Subsequently, they attended NYU School of Medicine, Sackler Institute of Graduate Biomedical Sciences, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in 2007. Following that, from 2008 to 2013, Sid pursued their Residency/Fellowship in Radiology at Harvard Medical School - Massachusetts General Hospital. Furthermore, Sid obtained Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology from the American Board of Radiology, although the specific month and year of attainment are not provided.
