Jim Schroder

Jim Schroder is an accomplished finance and operations executive with extensive experience in non-profit management. Currently serving as Global Controller at Evidence Action since November 2024, Jim previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Character Lab from 2019 to 2024, where responsibilities included managing a multimillion-dollar P&L, leading strategy execution, and facilitating Board engagement. Prior roles include Head of Program and Operations at Spark Program, directing operations for a 40-employee organization, and launching the first East Coast site for a national non-profit as Executive Director in Philadelphia. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from the University of Pennsylvania, a certificate in Youth Development and Mental Health from Harvard University, and a BA in Math from Williams College.
