Steve Lugtigheid has over 20 years of work experience in various senior roles in marketing and digital services. Steve is currently serving as the Senior Director of Digital and Content Marketing at DistillerSR since December 2020. Prior to this, they worked at the Canadian Pharmacists Association from February 2014 to November 2019 as the VP of Marketing, Sales, and e-Commerce. In this role, they were responsible for the overall corporate brand and successfully implemented marketing automation, demand generation, and CRM systems to improve efficiency and profitability. From February 1999 to January 2014, Steve served as the Director of Web Services at The Conference Board of Canada. Steve played a key role in transitioning the organization from print to digital products and oversaw the technical development of digital ecommerce products. Throughout their career, Steve has demonstrated a strong focus on digital marketing, demand generation, sales support, and pricing strategies.
Steve Lugtigheid obtained a BA in History from Bishop's University. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including Cert Prep: Scrum Master from LinkedIn in September 2020, Agile Foundations from LinkedIn in August 2020, Customer Experience: Journey Mapping from LinkedIn in June 2020, Inbound Marketing from HubSpot in July 2020, Conversational Marketing from Drift in February 2021, Backlink Management from SEMrush in October 2020, Local SEO from SEMrush in September 2020, and SEO Fundamentals from SEMrush in August 2020.
