Wei Huang

Wei Huang has a solid background in software engineering and computational programming for architecture. Wei is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at eVisit since April 2023. Before that, they worked at Bluestream Health as a Senior Software Engineer from August 2021 to April 2023. Wei was also a Full-Stack Software Engineer at Dashport until September 2021, where they implemented authentication middleware and modular deployment systems. Wei has experience working on various open-source projects, including Hush Chat, Stacktrack, and an Engineering Notebook App, where they integrated technologies such as Websockets, MongoDB, and React Hooks. Prior to their software engineering roles, Wei worked as a Computational Programmer and Senior Architectural Designer at HOK, where they utilized Grasshopper 3D and Python for architecture Building Information Modeling. Wei also worked as a Computation Specialist and Architecture Designer at Studio Link-Arc, LLC; CetraRuddy, where they focused on VR/AR simulations and data-driven facade design. Wei's early career involved being a Computation Lead and Architecture Designer at MAD architects, where they led a computational design team and utilized RhinoScript/Python for the Harbin Opera House project.

Wei Huang completed a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree in Architecture from the California College of the Arts, spanning from 2006 to 2009. Later, from 2013 to 2014, Wei pursued a Master of Science in Advanced Architecture Design from Columbia University. Additionally, Wei studied Civil Engineering at Guangzhou University, although the start and end years of this program are not specified.
