David Cantin, CPA

David Cantin, CPA has extensive experience in finance and accounting. David is currently the Chief Financial and Operations Officer at Evive Nutrition, where they are responsible for key financial functions such as capital raises, debt financing, treasury, reporting, FP&A, tax, internal controls, strategic planning, and mergers & acquisitions. Prior to their current role, they served as the Vice-Président Finances at Bizou International inc. from 2019 to 2021. Before that, they worked as a Controller/Consultant at Les Chocolats Favoris Inc. from 2016 to 2019.

David also has experience working in corporate finance and accounting. David served as a Manager at CGI from 2012 to 2016, where they focused on corporate finance and accounting. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant-Manager at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton from 2010 to 2012. David also worked as an Account Manager at BDC from 2009 to 2010.

David began their career as a Senior Auditor at Deloitte, where they worked in assurance and advisory services from 2007 to 2009. With their strong background in finance and accounting, David brings valuable expertise to their role at Evive Nutrition.

David Cantin, CPA completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Université Laval from 2002 to 2005. David then pursued a Master's degree in Financial accounting CPA program from the same university, which they completed from 2002 to 2006.

In terms of additional certifications, David obtained a Certification in Financial and Valuation Modeling from Wall Street Prep in May 2013. David is also a Chartered Accountant, certified by the Ordre des CPA du Québec, although the specific month and year of this certification are not provided.
