Georgi Velev Ll.m.

Georgi Velev, LL.M. currently serves as the Head of Team New Energy Services at EVN Bulgaria, where responsibilities include designing and implementing a pilot program for solar installations and contributing to various photovoltaic and electric vehicle projects. Previously, Georgi held the position of Director of the East Aegean Sea Basin Directorate at the Ministry of Environment and Water Bulgaria, overseeing legal responsibilities related to water monitoring and inspections. Georgi's earlier experience at EVN Bulgaria includes roles as a Legal Researcher and Corporate and Legal Affairs Advisor, where tasks involved analyzing energy and climate legislation and providing legal advice on corporate matters. Prior legal experience at the Ministry of Environment and Water includes serving as a Legal Advisor, preparing legal pleadings and representing cases in court. Georgi holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Energy and Climate Law from the University of Groningen and a Master of Laws in Bulgarian Law from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.
