Jakson Alvarez

Jakson Alvarez has a diverse work history, starting in 2007 as an Associate Trainer at Panera Bread, where they trained new employees and provided excellent customer service. In 2011, they interned as an Indiana Major Accounts Sales Intern at ADP, working on projects that updated accounts and generated leads. That same year, Jakson founded the Indiana University Chapter of Business Professionals of America and recruited officers for the chapter. Jakson also worked as the IU Charities President for The Delta Chi Fraternity, organizing a successful philanthropic pageant that raised over $122,000.

Jakson joined the Interfraternity Council at Indiana University in 2012 as the Vice President of Community Programs, facilitating collaboration among fraternity chapters and planning a large community service event. Jakson also served as the IMU Biddle Hotel BVIP Coordinator at Indiana University from 2012 to 2014.

In 2013, Jakson purchased the My Campus Cakes IU franchise and grew revenue by increasing social media presence and implementing marketing campaigns. That same year, they started working at 3M as a Financial Analyst Intern, gaining functional knowledge about 3M Nexcare products and developing a new inventory value analysis process. Jakson later became a Corporate Auditor, leading and performing audits of manufacturing plants, divisions, and subsidiaries.

In 2017, Jakson joined Romeo Power Technology as a Finance Project Manager, where they led the company-wide ERP implementation and various cross-functional projects. Jakson later served as a Sr. Finance Manager, supporting business leaders in improving financial results and overseeing capital raising activities. Jakson then became the Director of Finance, overseeing financial operations and recruiting new Finance members.

Most recently, Jakson is a Co-CEO & CFO, Co-Founder at Evolectric, a California-based technology company specializing in electrified transportation and battery technologies. They focus on reducing global carbon emissions and promoting circular economy principles through their purpose-built vehicle and battery solutions.

Jakson Alvarez attended Gimnasio Fidel Cano in Bogota, Colombia from 1997 to 2002. Jakson then studied at Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers, IN from 2005 to 2009. Following high school, Jakson enrolled at Ivy Tech Community College in Bloomington, IN for the academic year 2009-2010, though no specific field of study is provided. Jakson later pursued a Bachelor's degree at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business from 2010 to 2014, double majoring in Finance and Entrepreneurship & Corporate Innovation. Additionally, they minored in French. In 2013, Jakson also participated in the International Semester Exchange Program at NEOMA Business School in Rouen, France.
