Jason Sausto has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Jason is currently the Managing Director at Evolution Financial Group. Prior to this, they were a Founding Partner at Short Putt Partners, where they designed a program for accelerating EBITDA growth for businesses. Jason also served as the CEO and Owner of Onkyo USA from 2017 to 2022. Before that, they held multiple roles at Onkyo Corporation, including Member of the Board of Directors and President. Jason was also the President of Onkyo China. Additionally, Jason worked as the Managing Director, Asia Pacific at Red Herring, Inc. and as an Analyst in the Office Of Senior Vice Minister at the Government of Japan. Jason has demonstrated their entrepreneurial skills as the Co-Founder and Asia CEO of Global Bookings Connection Japan Inc., a subsidiary of Booking.com. During their tenure, the business grew significantly and was eventually sold to Priceline Group Inc.
Jason Sausto pursued their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Communications from the University of Missouri-Columbia, which they completed between 1992 and 1996. Jason later attended the Sophia University from 1995 to 1996, focusing on Japanese language studies through their Japan Language Institute. Taking a keen interest in International Relations and Affairs, they pursued a Master of Arts degree at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), where they studied from 2002 to 2004. Jason Sausto further expanded their knowledge and skills by completing an MBA at INSEAD in the field of Strategy and Finance, completing this program in 2005.
