Jess McConnell

Jess has 35 years of global experience in Upstream Projects, Operational Engineering, and Construction and Management positions. He has had the opportunity to lead and have influential roles for super-mega projects in the Orinoco of Venezuela; Oil Sands of Alberta, Coal Seam Gas / LNG developments in Queensland Australia and Unconventional Shale expansion in the Lower 48 USA.

Jess’s roles included General Manager - Projects for the Americas, VP of Capital Projects in Canada and Deputy Director for the Upstream portion of the APLNG project in Australia. He completed his career as the manager of Projects, Supply Chain and Engineering for L48 Unconventionals.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wyoming and a Masters of Science in Project Management from Boston University.
